The third and final recipe for beef, I mean water-buffalo week here on HK. I’ve cooked up a Keto Burger and it’s not just any burger, it’s a Beef and Blue Cheese Burger and it’s EPIC. For the hamburger buns we’re using my Keto microwave mug bread recipe. Enjoy!

Macros per serving (per burger patty)
Calories: 245
Net Carbs: 1g
Total Carbs: 1g
Fat: 12g
Protein: 30g
Fiber: 0g

Recipe makes 4 servings/burger patties.

Ingredients
– 500 grams Beef Mince (Ground Beef)
– 65 grams Blue Cheese
– Salt & Pepper
– Oregano or Rosemary
– Balsamic Vinegar
– Bacon Fat/Oil for cooking
– Cheddar Cheese
– Secret Sauce (Mayo, Mustard, Sriracha and Balsamic)
– Lettuce
– Almond Bread Buns

Preparation
1. Mix the beef with the herbs, blue cheese, balsamic and season with salt and pepper
2. Form into patties of 125grams each (approx)
3. Fry in a griddle pan or non stick frying pan in bacon fat or olive oil
4. Assemble the burger and enjoy!

  3. Am I supposed to do salt, pepper, oregano based on how much I think it may need or are there actual measurements somewhere? I couldn't find the recipe on MFP either.

  4. This looks great, I'm going to try it out next week. Since you cook with buffalo in India, I suggest not smooshing the meat with the spatula while cooking as you were pushing out the needed juices(fat). Buffalo meat barely has any fat as it is.

  5. Sahil , love your videos. Can we use regular vinegar or Apple cider vinegar instead of balsamic vinegar? Which one would be better ?

  6. Hi, this question is not related to the recipe. I am planning to start on the keto journey and have been reading about it. Read that one can have a thumping headache the first week or so due to water and electrolyte loss. Will drinking salty buttermilk be a good idea in that phase (advice was to load up on water and salt)
