The taste test was a total success! This burger is worthy to be served up at any Chicago Fire House. It’s not a cheeseburger, but I think cheese would have ruined what I was going for. That beef frank totally worked!

  1. Love your spiral doohickey! Never thought of freezing meat to spiral slice. Super creative. My mind is racing as I have a whole bag of meat glue I need to use. Muahaha.

  2. Hey Greg, love your channel. Love your burgers. Umm I have a request…it may sound odd…would you ever consider doing a veggie burger? My wife is vegetarian…

  4. Another fantastic cook Greg, I'll go dig around if there are some typical Dutch/Amsterdam/Haarlem (yes 2 a's in the original name) burger recipes that might be good enough to make it tot the big screen.

Thanks from a little village just outside Amsterdam, Remco

  5. In West Virginia, our standard hot dogs are with a good quality chili, cole saw, onion and mustard. Nothing more. It's so delicious dressing a good grilled burger with the same toppings. It would be really cool to see you give us some love here in the Mountain State by dedicating a burger with those toppings… And I think you'd love it.

  6. Amazing brother! We Chicagoans will welcome you with open arms anytime! This would definitely be something we would try out, but maybe not become a staple as we are very prideful, a bit arrogant, and traditional (whilst oblivious of our own traditions sometimes). Very creative spin indeed.

  7. great idea at the end. If you have done a few cities and are a little bit more comfortable with the format, I would suggest Bangkok! There are so many great tastes and barbecue unique items there, it would fill an entire series is my guess 🙂

Examples: moo ping (fatty bbq pork) with Kao Nieuw (sticky rice, could be a patty?), mango (or a mango sauce), there and some chilies… I am already drooling!
(Singapore: a satay hamburger? Would be an instant hit here in the Netherlands. We love a peanut-satay sauce on our fries, and in/on our snacks.)
