The Ultimate Jerk Burger #TastyTuesdays |

For this Jerk Burger you’ll need…

1 lb ground beef
3 small scallions
1 scotch bonnet pepper
1 lemon (juice + zest)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1/3 teaspoon ground allspice
1/3 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/3 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/5 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 sprigs thyme
1 tablespoon brown sugar

  2. Love ya recipes Chris, gotta get me another grill for this. Spring is trying to come here in WV but two days chilled rain makes me wish even more for a grill to warm myself as I try your inspired burgers. Lucky enuf to have a Kroger Grocer that has some real peppers. I dunno if it'll ruin em but I'd have to do something to preserve them until. …. how'd you go about that?
