Dr. Berg talks to newbies (new people) about the 3 things one needs to know about fat cells. This is the basics for keto and fat burning. Hormones control fat, fat burning is controlled by an enzyme called hormone sensitive lipase, which is then released by the reduction of insulin.

Decreasing insulin requires you to lower your carbs, to not go low fat and to avoid grains like wheat products. Keto combined with intermittent fasting is necessary for weight loss.

  1. I SAW THIS GUY RUNNING AT THE PARK LOOKING VERY SLUGGISH , OVERWEIGHT,AND TIRED . HE WAS WEARING A BIT MUCH CLOTHING. LOOKING AT HIM I AM THINKING POOR YOU IF YOU WOULD KNOW WHAT I KNOW……AT THE TIME I WAS LOSING WEIGHT RAPID ON KETOMITTENT WITHOUT EXERCISEING ONLY STARTED A KETTLEBELL CLASS THERE ON THE GRASS, I SAID I WILL PUT A NOTE IN MY KEYRING PURSE WITH DR BERGS NAME ON IT AND IF ITS MEANT TO BE HE WILL BE THERE 2 DAYS LATER OR WHEN EVER I BUMP INTO HIM I WILL GIVE IT TO HIM. I WILL BE BACK AT THE GRASS FOR TRAINING IN THE NEXT WEEK, I WONDER HOW HIS DOING,I SAW A GUY LATELY I THINK IT COULD HAVE BEEN HIM IF IT IS THE SAME GUY THEN HE LOST 2 STONE IN WEIGHT,AND I AM A VERY HAPPY GIRL

  3. i stir fry chicken and veggies all the time and lose weight nicely. Also pork and veggies as well. Also steak and veggies. I don't think it matters what meat u choose.

  5. I saw you doubt yourself when you said "you got to eat fat to burn fat". Hmm. I think you could have presented this better because you do have the right idea. Fasting of course wil burn fat, I don't need to be a doctor of medicine to say that. This is not a new idea; it just needs to be explained better.

  6. The GI PA said eat low fat and some other nonsense, I had to start correcting him, and he agreed with what I said, which I learned from Dr Berg.

    So why was the GI knowingly telling me the wrong thing to do if he knew better???

  7. Eating this high fat low carb diet got my testosterone levels so high I tested positive for steroids LoL could this actually be dangerous since steroids are bad for you?

  8. For me, the thing I miss most on keto is potatoes and potato chips. I haven't had any for 4 months now and justy wish it were possible to have 1 baked potato per day with my other low carb vegetables at my meals. IMHO…broccoli and kale and asparagus always taste better with a baked potato.
