  1. You don't want to trigger glucagon too much, because it also raises your blood sugar. You don't want your blood sugar to be too high. A lot of diabetics have high levels of glucagon.

  2. Dr.berg thank you for everything , my question is what about chlorogenic acid and green coffee ? And how it work to weight loss ????

  3. If one has type 1 diabetes – which means your pancreas does not work then does type 1 diabetics not produce glucagon as well?  Then what do type 1 diabetics do to burn fat?

  4. The Today show or some NBC program recommended that people get up during commercials all day long and do some form of exercise.

The commercial breaks last about 8 minutes, and they did say that if you could do it all day long, you would burn off a minimum of 800 more calories daily.

Then you don't think about snacking much. For the elderly, getting and moving around that often will help prevent them from getting bedsheets (=decubitus ulcers) the size of their feet.

  5. Glucagon is one of the fat and sugar releasing hormones. It works the opposite of insulin. Look at it like this, insulin is the storage hormone and glucagon is the releasing hormone. If you want to burn fat (lipolysis) you want your insulin to be low and glucagon to be high.

How to increase fat burning hormone?
    – long walks on an empty stomach when insulin levels are low
    – fasting
    – low carb diet (low sugar)
    – eating an optimal amount of protein
    – short High Intensity Training (HIT)

  6. Please enlighten us on green coffee for weight loss. I am seeing pl around loose so much weight on it n keeping it off for long. Please advice.
