  1. Hey chef John, I know this vid is old, but yes, it does work. Baking soda works very well in fact to cut the acidity of tomato sauce. I do it at home and whenever I forget to add it, I have heartburn afterwards. But not after eating the sauce with the added baking soda. I do add a pinch more than you do here though. Just don't add too much or your sauce will taste like, well, crap….lol

  3. I just watched the video for the cauliflower "dough" and I'm torn. I'm doing this "whole30" thing with my wife, and I'm not sure if I want to try to make a pizza that's compliant for the most part, or just go whole hog every once in a while and make the real thing…I mean I've got a pizza stone and everything.

    I'm thinking the real thing occasionally, even though it isn't with the diet…
