Learn how to make Pizza at home with out oven in just 15 Minutes.
Everyone is making pizza on tawa these days but we’ve added another deliciously twist to the recipe by making it a sandwich. Yes, we know. We are too awesome. Make your very own homemade Tawa Pizza Sandwich next time you crave for pizza and feel lazy to get out of your house or even to order. Cooking Time: 25-30 Minutes
Calories: Approx. 450/Sandwich
4 slices white bread
4 tbsp homemade pizza sauce (recipe below)
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
3 tbsp butter
Handful of fresh basil
1 tap dried Oregano
1 tap dried chilli flakes
Few slices of bell pepper, few mushrooms, few onions slices
For pizza sauce:
8 tomatoes, blended
1 onion, finely chopped
7-8 garlic, grated
1 tbsp ketchup
Handful of basil leaves
1 tap dried Oregano
Salt to taste
1 tap Black pepper
Heat olive oil in a pan. Add garlic and tomato and cook on low flame for a minute or two. Onions shouldn’t get brown. Add tomato puree and cook for 15-20 min on medium flame until the sauce thickened up and turned deep red color. Add salt, ketchup, oregano, black pepper and cook for another 5 min. Finally, add chopped basil.
For sandwich keep the sauce very thick else the bread will become soggy!
To make the sandwich, apply the thick base of pizza sauce on the bread, add veggies of your choice, add cheese, top it with another slice and cook on tawa using butter. Cook on both side until well crisped.
