The Easiest Way to Lose Weight, The Principles of Weight Loss part 2

101

Why do carbs make you fat?

The science is very clear. Eating a lot of carbohydrates makes you fat. And eating a low carb, high fat diet leads to weight loss. But why is this?

The answer is hormones. All food is not created equal. The body responds differently when you eat carbohydrates. It sends signals that tell the body to store fat.

In this episode, I detail the science behind weight gain. And more importantly, I give a successful strategy for weight loss THAT IS EASY TO FOLLOW. One that doesn’t need you to count calories or carbohydrates. A simple, easy method that focuses on real, delicious foods.

  1. Some questions I have are: it seems like some people can eat/drink whatever they want and these rules don't apply. In my case, where the weight gain super ramped up about 6 years ago with no major changes in diet or activity level… where does that come from? Does your body just say one day… I'm going to start being a huge jerk?

  2. This made a lot of sense to me, and I'm giving it a try starting today. I did not realize that artificial sweeteners that have zero carbs still have the insulin effect. I really hate drinking water, so that will be my stumbling block, but I can do it.
