  1. "Necessary" is a dogmatic statement. A big stretch indeed. Lots of people lose weight with low fat, high carbs or with a calorie deficit.. There's MULTIPLE way of losing weight. Ketosis being very efficient, it's still just ONE of the multiple way of losing fat

  2. I train with resistance training and HIIT frequently throughout the week (5 days). The carbs give me energy and I thrive off the glucose. 20-50 grams seems viciously low for someone like me. Will the uptake of fat really compensate when I do heavier lifting and higher intensity? There seems to be such a discord between what trainers say (who have scientifically researched as well) and this advice of lower carb/higher fat. Is it possible to meet somewhere in the middle?

  3. is a type 1 diabetic still able to lose weight if they add healthy fats to their diet – due to their pancreas not working and therefore not able to break down fat?  what do you recommend for type 1 diabetics with breaking down fat?

  4. Finally, I have found a diet program that is successful for me. My partner and i only wish that I had come across this diet plan a long time ago. I know I would of lost a minimum of 7 more lbs. Google “sowo amazing plan” for more information.

  5. Hello Dr. Berg. I have heard that coconot oil and butter are also good for cooking but what oils do you recommend for salad dressings or for making home made mayonnaise? Greetings from Costa Rica.

  6. Eventually, I have found a diet plan that is effective for me. If only this diet would have been in living a lot earlier. Make sure to google “sowo amazing plan”! Of all the diets in the world, this method is the best, I lost 6 pounds.

  7. Dr Berg, You should not even mention 50 grams of carbs! It's too much! You are giving people permission to CHEAT by doing so. If you tell people 50 grams, they'll consume 100! You should have said 20 grams, PREFERABLY ZERO! But I get it…..you want to keep your viewers, and the way you do that is by being non-restrictive. The problem is, non-restrictive diets don't work, especially when it comes to Keto.. You will keep from loosing subscribers by being less restrictive, but they will remain FAT and see very little progress.

  8. I have learnt so much form you Dr. Berg and continue too then from all, other sources such as Media, Government guidelines low fat diet (what a complete joke!) You are educating us the truth. Be blessed. and keep going please. Your a Food & health genius. I love your work! 🙂
