  • West on 03/07 Sez: This is THE WORST coffee shop I have every dealt with!!! I am from Sacramento, and relied on the ratings here to find a good coffee shop. BAD DECISION! I called and asked if they were still serving food and the hours of operation, as well as if anyone there knew general directions from North Beach as I have been to San Francisco about 100 times and know landmarks and many major streets but not every street. The woman on the phone ridiculed me for not knowing where Haight Street was and that I was driving a car and not taking the train. After being RUDELY talked at, I ended the conversation politely and called back about 5 minutes later to ask for the manager. A different woman answered the phone and I asked for the manager, to which she replied "there isn't a manager here, what do you want?" I told her that I was hoping to get general directions from North Beach to the establishment, and that I had called about 5 minutes before and wanted to complain about the rudeness of the previous person I had talked to. That seemed to infuriate her as she demanded to know why I would complain as she tried to justify her coworkers actions after my every response. I asked her what her name was and she stated "I don't f***ing have time for this" and hung up on me. I called back one more time, and asked again for the names of the people I had spoken with and was told "we do not have to give out that information" and again was hung up on. I ended up going to a MUCH NICER establishment. After getting home, I looked up the website and found it to be disingenuous as the staff is VERY abusive to its customers, even though the website says that they provide "superior services and care deeply about our guests". Therefore, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ABUSIVE ESTABLISHMENT.
  • DeepSpace on 04/21 Sez: Great people watching (it's haight, afterall). Comfortable setting. Decent coffee. Good wifi connectivity.
  • Kendra on 01/07 Sez: SOOO good! Great espresso, bustling but they still care about people. And the people watching is so fun there!
  • Jerry on 12/04 Sez: Maybe the best cafe I've ever been to. Really warm and inviting, great espresso and sandwiches, plugs everywhere and fast, free wifi.
  • Zach H. on 11/13 Sez: too pricey, otherwise ok
  • Randy on 07/20 Sez: Nice and spacious and a good vibe. Right at Masonic and Haight without feeling that hectic.
