  • Steve Jackson on 02/01 Sez: Hilarious experience today (02 Feb 09)! I went to the windsor for some lunch & to do some work using the free WiFi connection that I had read about on this site only hours before. When I fired up my laptop I was presented with the choice of 3 different connections. I asked the staff which one I should be using. After much confusion it turned out that they don't actually have a WiFi - the signals were all coming from the cafes over the road, or possibly even form local residences. Anyway, I used the Virgin unsecured connection. The staff were great, the beer was cold, and the connecction was slow. But hey, it was free!
