When I first tried this place, I thought it was perfect: it is across the street from the subway (UWS, 72nd street: 1, 2 & 3 trains); the wifi is strong and stable; there are lots of outlets; the coffee is plentiful and the food is excellent (although rather expensive) and there is plenty of space. But that was before the owner walked up to me one morning as I was drinking my coffee and proceeded to verbally berate me for "not spending enough money." WTF?? Several customers looked at me sympathetically while the owner yelled at me, refusing to listen to anything I said (nevermind that I was drinking coffee while he shouted), and he even went so far as to list his monthly operating expenses (!!) -- as if one person can make his business fail! Fortunately, the asshole owner is not in on the weekends, so I come in on Sundays (when the libraries are closed). But after being publicly humiliated, I find it very difficult to appreciate this "perfect place" because I am very anxious whenever I am here and thus, I cannot stomach their excellent, although pricey, food.
