  • Rae on 07/31 Sez: Beautiful kosher cafe -- I love it because it's only two blocks from home and I can get free wifi. A bit over-priced but not horrendously so for the area; most of the clientele are Jewish and Israeli locals looking to socialize as opposed to people with laptops. However, I never feel out of place being the only one with a laptop in the place -- I just order breakfast (served all day, delicious and even healthy if you pick the right items) and a cappuccino and get plenty of work done. Customer service isn't amazing, but I honestly prefer having to seek out an employee (don't have to go far, just to the counter) over being pestered every 20 minutes, so I find it works well for me. Outlets seem to be few and far between, if there are any at all; I just use my battery while I'm there, but there might be some along the wall. Very few tables are along the walls, though, so have a fully-charged battery if you can. In other words, this is great for a 1-2 hour work session, or as long as your battery can last at the longest. Not someplace I'd stick around for 5 hours working on a weekend, but good to break up the day with a different location, good food and coffee, and (for me) close to home.
