The 4th & McDowell location was completely empty when I went there today. I'm not sure if they moved to another location or just closed. The University shop was also closed, but news articles have reported a Kokomo's opening on the Johnson C. Smith campus in the future.

Being a Charlottle native I was very excited to see a black owned coffee shop in center city. When I went to support the establishment I was not impressed the food is disgusting and the owner is RUDE. Do not go to Kokomos you will be dissappointed with the QUALITY and LACK OF customer service.
