  • April D. Baker on 01/09 Sez: The 4th & McDowell location was completely empty when I went there today. I'm not sure if they moved to another location or just closed. The University shop was also closed, but news articles have reported a Kokomo's opening on the Johnson C. Smith campus in the future.
  • Marcel on 03/30 Sez: Kokomo's is outstanding! The smoothies are great! The coffee is wonderful and the atmosphere is too! Five Stars!!!
  • Natacha on 03/28 Sez: I loved this coffee shop..I went on a Friday night to listen to live Jazz.. It was a great.. The staff was great as well.. Simply beautiful
  • StrawberriSwags on 02/28 Sez: Being a Charlottle native I was very excited to see a black owned coffee shop in center city. When I went to support the establishment I was not impressed the food is disgusting and the owner is RUDE. Do not go to Kokomos you will be dissappointed with the QUALITY and LACK OF customer service.
  • Nadine on 11/20 Sez: The food and service was great, I had chicken wings and they were great. Lots of Obama posters on display and they were great. I love Obama, Charlotte and KokoMo's
  • Jacquone on 07/17 Sez: The Coffee is excellent, but today i tried the chicken wings and it was nasty. They were not done. I guess If its a coffee Shope then thats all that needs to be shold in there.
  • Fred DeWitt on 07/06 Sez: visiting area from Washington DC for family reunion, we had a large group, service was fast, food was home made style, staff made us feel like home. Group members saw a number of their friends from Johnson C Smith University socialization was good, one of the high lights of the reunion week. Will return again on our next trip.
  • T. Shannon on 01/16 Sez: I enjoyed the upscale atmoshpere and the java! Free wi-fi always a plus.
