  • Oakland Loves me Loves Oakland on 11/20 Sez: I like the food and the space, but the service ranges from cold to indifferent. Some women of color I know think staff is racist & I have a hard time getting pals to hang out there. I don't have enough experience there to know if they direct the bad vibes more in any one direction than another. I don't find the staff in general very warm or helpful- I end up leaving wondering if they consider my orders an imposition. I like a place where I can exchange some friendly banter with the staff - this ain't it.
  • Javier on 06/21 Sez: Easily the best cafe in Downtown Oakland. Easy to work, great food and coffee, very relaxed atmosphere. Just make sure you have cash on you.
