  • maudlin on 07/02 Sez: best and most consistent of the independents in this neighborhood. Still holding on courageously a year after s*bucks moved in across the street. Great food, great coffee. Atmosphere is old-school literati. Daytime employees are great. Lot's of computer users, including someone with a misguided understanding of free wifi who once plugged in his desktop computer and then proceeded to complain about the price of the food. Please be respectful of the free wifi, and pay for a meal (at least a coffee) if you are there during mealtime.
