  • jf on 11/16 Sez: Since we are reviewing other reviews here, and not the places, joeny, your's sucks. Did you even read S. Becker's? I can't stand meatheads who can't see anythng but what they've been programmed to see. S. Becker wrote a very cogent review backed by anecdotal evidence. You wrote to whine about his not loving the demonstratively racist staff. Why don't you use your skin to go back to ny?
  • joeny on 11/15 Sez: There we go again... someone with an ethnic background whining as usual of their race. The bouncer is doing his job, and you go to eat at a place to have the two fers... at least pay money for the beer. The wings come at a price... yeah drink a beer. As for the service? When 200 people are in a bar, what do you expect. Thats why there is a bar... get up off your butt and get a beer. Stop the whining and the race card... grow up. Thats why we have these issues in this country. Everyone wants to use their skin as an excuse...
  • S. Becker on 09/07 Sez: Skip Finn McCool's if you're looking for a bar in Chicago. The service is terrible. Waitresses and bartenders will walk right past you, that's if they come at all. The free wing buffet on Friday comes with a price. Your dignity. Some African-American customers are warned by the large bouncers that they must buy alcohol or pay for wings, even though I've never seen anyone there eat w/out at least buying a beer. Non-ethnic customers are never issued this caveat. I've also seen African-American customers harassed by waitstaff even though they are eating and enjoying beverages peacefullly. Their response to their unequal level of service is "You can go somewhere else if you don't like it." That quote came from Michael, the manager on duty. Even though I am white, this behavior disgusted me. When I asked the bouncer why he approached the couple at the next table so rudely, he responded "I'm just doing my job." Avoid this place.
