  • Emmy on 12/19 Sez: I think that the Alameda Free Library is a great place to hang out, do homework or anthing. The cafe is great for anyone who doen't like expensive drinks.
  • Sarah on 06/25 Sez: The Dewey and Friends Café inside the library is a godsend for the cheapskate. You can sit as long as you like for free in comfy chairs and a clean bathroom is steps away. There are numerous plugs and the wi-fi is pretty good. You can bring in your own food or buy from the volunteer-run café. Sure, it can be a bit noisy, but if you bring headphones it's perfect.
