  1. This was delicious. brushed cauliflower with olive oil. sprinkle with paprika. seared cauliflower in a cast iron pan. add additional oil if need. cook 45 mins. set oven 425 and place uncovered cast iron pan in oven. flip cauliflower steak half way through. remove and sprinkle with salt. yummy.

  2. Please Reply… I am going to make this for me and my kid..He is a 10yr old vegan and i have been trying to find a awesome way to cook this and you have the best way according to my research

  3. What sides would you recommend with this dish? My boyfriend hates cauliflower but loved my cauliflower fried rice I made him. I'd love to surprise him with cauliflower steak but I'd like to make a full meal for him.

  4. That looks excellent. I am partial to cauliflower, and it's always good to discover a new way to enjoy it. Useless fact: the white head of the cauliflower is actually called the 'curd'.

  5. If you don't eat anything else with the cauliflower…. you should eat the whole cauliflower. It's probably not even 300 calories. I do it once in a while, but not yet in the cauliflower steak style. Paprika… really. Maybe this weekend.

  6. I love to surprise my family with fresh vegetables that actually taste good! I've always hated vegetables but I realized it's because all i've ever had are boring, bland steamed ones! I've now tried to make vegetables more flavorful and more enjoyable to eat. My favorite simple thing to do is roast chopped brussels sprouts in the oven with some olive oil, pepper, salt, and chopped garlic! I do the same with asparagus, and add in a little Parmesan cheese to those! So good and definitely not bland.
