Chicken Fried Steak Ingredients

3/4 pound round steak, cut into 2 pieces
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 sleeve Saltine crackers, crushed to make about 2 cups of crumbs
1/4 cup vegetable oil or bacon grease or a combination, for frying

  1. You're a very fun gal that really enjoys cooking thats pretty obvious. You do make mistakes in your methods however.

  2. What a babe! I've never seen the crackers thing before………….I'm gonna try that! I'm a Yankee. I like my CFS on a good hamburger bun with mustard, lettuce, tomato and pickle. So good.

  3. I made this last night, & was so good! I love pepper too but used half as much & still my butt itched this morning.

  4. You are such a gift. I am so despondent about what is happening in our country since November, 2016. A few months ago I started watching cooking shows. I finally found you that combines cooking knowledge, a little sexual innuendo, and under the breath comments. Every Saturday night my husband and I watch an episode of The Two Fat Ladies. You are not fat. You are attractive woman and I am a gay man. You are though someone with the character of The Two Fat Ladies. You know what your doing. You do not take yourself too seriously. And, you can talk about lard.

  5. Rub baking soda all over the meat on both sides and let sit for 15 minutes then rinse it off. Guaranteed to make that meat 50% more tender. Guaranteed. Give it a try. You won't regret it.

  6. I just made this for the first time tonight with some country gravy and scratch made redskin garlic mashed potatoes… o… m… g… it came out soooo good!!!
