  1. I am from Mexico so my english its not very good but I really want to try this recipe but I only found sweet jackfruit, not from a can, and it looks very different, it's yellow and thin, doesn't look like meet at all ☹ where i can find those cans.?

  2. Dude you killing me! Im from La. and being cajun i was hardcore carnivore for years, the transition was rough at first after cooking gumbos and rice n gravies stews etc. Its been fun finding substitutes for meat in my favorite dishes and jackfruit is just awesome, making these this weekend for sure!

  3. Hi i'm not vegan. Really like to taste this someday. I am absolutly pro eating less meat if there are good alternatives. Well i highly doubt there will be smth compareable to real meat with only salt and maybe pepper anytime soon. But for all that marinated meat where you don't even taste the flavor of meat through, i'd love to have a vegetarian or vegan alternative to pick from.

  4. this has nothing to do with this video but I'm kinda new to veganism but is all coconut oil edible like the hard kinda squishey coconut oil can you cook with it?

  5. Thank you so much for this amazing recipe! I just made it and followed your recipe exactly. I can't believe how delicious it was. I have never made a bbq sauce from scratch before, and I am picky about bbq sauces. This sauce was perfect!!!! This was also my first time trying jackfruit, and I was completely shocked at how convincing the meat-like texture was, but cruelty free. I'm so pleased and plan to make the recipe many more times.

  6. super tip i learned.  Check the Worcestershire sauce at your local dollar tree type store… they are so cheap, and without anchovies (too expensive) and it tastes spot on.  🙂
