  • Nancy Diaz on 04/05 Sez: My hot chocolate was not great and over priced. But my bigger issue is that this owner is supporting the illegal immigrants to run around without a license and insurance. And she thinks our police force is in the wrong? Are you kidding me Olga? Please do not support this shop or her. We have got to make a difference.
  • Coffee Lover on 06/29 Sez: Needs some work - coffee tasted burned and the atmosphere was stark, not very welcoming. Bakery looked like something I could pick up in Costco. Tried it, didn't like it. No votes from me but will continue looking.
  • SUmmer on 05/26 Sez: Blue mug is the best!!! I don't know what other people are saying when they label the blue mug as over priced and uncomfortable! These are the same people who will pay 5 bucks for a nasty cup of coffee and sit in a crowded loud Starbucks then enjoy a cup of coffee here! The coffee is fresh! Every cup is fresh! You have like 20 different beans to choose from. They have awesome girls working behind the counter. I would never go anywhere eles!! I mean it!
  • The Connoisseur on 05/15 Sez: The coffee is just ok but overpriced and their seating is uncomfortable. But the worst part is their service...very hit and miss. The last time I was there the girl behind the counter had a serious attitude. I will not be going back.
  • Chris on 09/13 Sez: This place rocks. Try the "Zoom brew" for an eye opening light coffee. I'm back at college for 8 months and am going to be having coffee shipped out to me. It's the best in Escondido!
  • J. P. on 03/01 Sez: I can't believe I didn't catch on to this place sooner. As of 2006, this place has been here about 4 years. This is a nice, clean little coffee shop, but you can't get better coffee anywhere I know of (an I'm a coffee junkie). The reason: the brew bar. So you pick a type of coffee bean from the 15-or-so jars of different (premium) whole coffee beans. They pull out a scoop (looks to be 3-4 TBS worth) of beans, then send it through their grinder. As soon as it's out, they put the grounds into a filter, then take it over to their brew bar, where there is a row of cups waiting beneath a row of brew funnels; they put the coffee/filter into one of the brew funnels, and then pour hot water over the grounds and your coffee drips right into your cup! What an amazing idea! You get fresh coffee (and I mean freshly ground, freshly brewed), every single cup, every single time! I can't believe nobody else does this! 5-stars, all the way. P.S. The music and artwork are great too!
