This cafe is half block from our house and we have young twins. It was kind of like our breakfast room for a few years. It has a library feel for much of the day - folks definitely come here to use the wireless. Counter staff isn't effusive - but have always been accomodating of our kids who like to sit on the counter. James, the owner, isn't there too much anymore, but he's always got a ready smile. Coffee isn't as good as, say Blue Bottle or Peet's, but it's better than passable. They have bakery stuff and make bagel sandwiches and nice place to sit outside in neighbor maintained sidewalk garden.
